Father's Day Gift Guide 2022 - The Best Gifts for Dad This Year

  • Aura Frame – load it up with photos of your kids, it really is the best. We love ours and have gifted it multiple times.

  • Sonos Move – outdoor smart speaker. The sound quality just can’t be beat, it’s the best addition to any deck or patio. (I went in with my siblings to gift this to my dad this year) .

  • Burley Bee Bike Trailer – for the dad who loves to bike and wants to take his kids – our kids love to ride with their dad.

  • Their favorite activity – Dad who loves to take the kids to the zoo? A Zoo membership! Dad who loves to take the kids for ice cream? An ice cream shop gift certificate! (You get the idea). The gift of experience is always a winner.

  • Solo stove – if you don’t have one yet, now’s the perfect time. It’s a summer staple.

  • NFTs and/or Crypto – if you’re like me, this is a foreign world. If your husband/father is like my husband – this is the most exciting hobby. I’m not going to tell you how to do this because honestly, I don’t know (I’m doing my own research right now and if you DO know, please comment below!) My gift might look like a handmade gift certificate to invest in whatever he wants.

  • Goodr Sunglasses – Polarized sunglasses for any dad’s style.

  • Tom and Teddy matching swimsuits – they’re the most adorable.

  • Handmade gifts from the kids – see below on how to make it un-throw-away-able.

A Guide to Gifting Handmade Kids’ Gifts He Won’t Throw Away

A guide to gifting handmade gifts he won't throw away - Father's Day Gift Guide 2022

  • Any artwork your kid wants to gift – put it in a frame! It’s so easy to throw away paper, but framed artwork will make your kid feel special and is so fun to look back on over time. (I like these frames from Target) .

  • “What I Love About Daddy” – this can be a video or artwork (as long as you put it in a frame).

  • A coffee mug (or something he’ll use daily) – Kids love ceramic painting. Or, get some acrylic paint pens and make them at home

    • Wash the mug (I like these plain ones from Amazon)

    • Decorate to your heart’s content with acrylic paint pens

    • Wait at least 24 hours for paint to dry

    • Place mug in cold oven, then set the oven to 350°F

    • Let it bake for 1 hour

    • Turn oven off and let the mug cool inside the oven
