Who doesn’t love a good wine tour? Tell me I’m not alone here! But the age old question still stands – how do moms enjoy wine while, well… momming? I’m here to tell you it’s possible!
Traverse City is the perfect vacation with toddlers! With plenty of kid-friendly activities your little ones will never be bored. Plus, most wineries are happy to accommodate families with children. So pack up the stroller and head to Michigan’s Wine Country for your next family vacation.

After days of swimming and building sand castles, we wanted to do something for the grown ups. So we booked a tour with Traverse City Wine and Beer Tours. Having a driver was fun and safe. We strapped in our own car seats and let them plan our itinerary. They got us some awesome tables and suggested the perfect wineries. Our driver had great recommendations for food and activities in the area. He was also very knowledgeable about the wine and beer scene in Traverse City. We had a great time on our tour without worrying about a designated driver. It’s definitely the way to go!
Our Favorite Traverse City Wineries with Kids
Brys Estate
Brys Estate was one of the best stops on our trip. Our tour company got us a great table on the deck, and the views were amazing. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and we especially enjoyed the frosé and cheese plate. The kids had a blast, and we would definitely recommend this stop to anyone traveling in the area.
